As I recall, according to The Hosers, on the second day, we sing Two Turtle-necks.

On the fifth day of Christmas my true love gave to me...

Five golden tukes!
Four pounds of back bacon,
Three French Toast,
Two Turtle-Necks,
And a Bee-e-eer in a tree.

This calls for a patriotic: 'Eh?, And an off tune humming of O' Canada. How can one not love this great country?

Oh, Canada!
Our, home and... hmm, mmm, land.
Ture dum du-dah
Da da da da da da....
Mmm-mm-mmmm-m-mm
Hmm-hm-hmmm-hmmm-hm-hm
The true north strong and free...
Hum dum dum du-dah
Oh, Canada...
We stand on guard for thee-ee-ee-ee

God keep our land...
Somethingous and free
Oh Canada, we stand on guard for thee....
Oh Canada (a little more climactic)
We stand on guard...
Fooooooorrrrrr...
TTTTHHHHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
Da-da-da-dum

(indiana jones, drum ending)

Now any true canadian knows that the single most important thing that makes him (or her) canadian is that he (or she) does not know the words to our national anthem. In fact anyone who does know ALL the words is most likely either a) a nerd, or b) a foreign spy.

Didjaknowthat, the original version of our national anthem had one verse where we would just repeat the words Oh, Canada!

Now this is actually the verse that most drunkards, uh, I mean Canucks know.

Sung like a true blue Crazy Canuck. I once knew the Canadian anthem both in French and English but the words have quickly slipped away after being out of elementary school for so long. Does anyone realy know for sure if the last note, "thee", is supossed to go higher (like at hockey games) or lower? I was once at a conference where we sung O Canada and there were half of us who sung higher and the other half lower. Ever since then I've been confused. (this isn't a new feeling so don't be worried) Anyway, it's late. smiley - smiley
