Well that's a bit over the top...
He's my favourite character, even in the books! He's so funny and cool!

Legolas in the books - Haughty Wood Elf Prince. Thoughtful and noble.
Hollywood Legolas - Whoooo! California Surfer Elf!! No Mr Jackson. Goodbye. Don't let the arrows of Lothlorien hit you on the way out...

Awww... don't let the silly freaky man kill your enjoyment of the books. Ignore him and he'll go away. Or stalk you and kill you in your sleep.
*looks over her shoulder frightfully*
And I don't mind Legolas, really. Good old Captain Obvious. He's good for a giggle.

In the book and film I like Aragorn more. I don't think Legolas is annoying, he's a bit quiet but then he is in the book too.

Film and book Aragorn = different, but good. Though he was a lot more 'kingly' in the actual books, I found.
But then, what do I know? I'm partial to the hobbits.
