An infinite amount of energy wouldn't help you - its not to do with that. Its quantum mechanics - you couldn't have all the atoms settle, because of the pauli exclusion principle, and because of the heisenburg uncertainty principle too, I'd imagine.

Yes, but there is a theoretical point of zero energy. Just because it is impossible to reach doesn't mean that you can't theorise.
