Now I know that the 'blue language' needs to be toned down, but I'm not entirely sure on how to acheive that.
Suggestions happily welcomed.

Blimey.

Is that you, Betty? Didn't we agree not to hang our laundry in public?
Tsk.

PS - On a more serious note - I wonder if this is (*ahem*) 'factual' enough for the EG From my POV, it is spot on, oyu understand, but there are some....
Oh, well, no doubt you'll find out soon enough

I appreciate that it's not exactly factual, and that it's unlikely ever to make it onto the Hootoo site proper, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't have a laugh does it?
And for the record I am a man (and fit almost none of these stereotpyes)

I think the factualness needs some improvement. For example, the statement that men have no emotion - have you ever seen a man after his pro-football team lost the Super Bowl?

It's brilliant, and I see no reason why this shouldn't have a place in the guide, like these entries:

A13930805 Watching England in the Football World Cup

Ah, but, there *is* a forum just for this kind of writing... hootoo is not *only* about the EG, you know (looks around furtively, in case anyone overhears)

oooh my word - conspiracy in my first hour. What is the world coming to.
Unfortunately I don't have time to read through all that jazz at the mo, but I'll give it a butchers when I get the chance.

Thanks all.
I've tried reading the guidelines and explanations of the various facets of 'hootoo', and quite frankly I'm far more baffled now than I was when I hadn't read them.
So, in conclusion, I'll leave this here, and you can havea read andwe'll just see what happens eh?

ah, the good old days... *reminisces*
I'd push for this to have EG status.
It's entertaining, semi-factual, semi-facetious and semi - hang on the first sentence mentions male members!
Brilliant, look forward to reading more of your work in the future

I liked it. It's very true and very funny. It's just not very reverent. And in the absence of anything else here about men, it'll do just fine.
Reality check: quite a few of the preoccupations you mention (e.g. drinking and cars) are shared equally by gay men. They like to have a laught with their mates just as much as us het blokes do. The only difference is they take them home to bed afterwards.
