It's happened again?

This is partly why I left in disgust last time it happened with SWL's cat skinning Entry. I'm sorry, but the PR process cannot operate effectively when Entries get yikesed.

If it's a reaction to the filther once it has flagged a 'hit' then the mods have got to be trained to deal with the matter more effectively, not just hide it and wait for the Ed's to review it on Monday. It's pointless having work like this hidden over the weekend when many people have their reading time. Seeing a yikesed Entry may cause them to unsub, thinking it's another frivolous piece of junk, and then the work doesn't get the review it's entitled too.

If it's a 'human' attempting some ridiculous quest to protect poor old Auntie from a highly unlikely copyright claim, then they need to butt out. The author has stated it's his own work and no-one has come up with any proof to the contrary.

This really does make me angry.

Anyway, I've now seen the entry (thanks to Wilma) and I think it's actually quite funny and startlingly accurate in places. But is it an Edited Guide entry? Not sure. Underguide? Perhaps. The Post? Well, what do the editors of The Post think?
