I hated Tiswas, even as a five-year-old I felt it was insulting. I loved Swap Shop - though it looked rather staid on the recent television special!

Swap Shop walks it, surely?
So sad the BBC's Saturday line-up has changed so much! The majestic theme tune to Grandstand *is* Saturday!

I was a Swap Shop kid, but in retrospect I think Tiswas looked a lot more fun.
Mind you, I used to admire the swappers' enthusiasm;
'Eric in Stockwell would like to swap a copy of last week's Radio Times for a Raleigh Chopper'.
Now the prime Saturday morning telly output consists of one cookery programme screened on two channels (ITV1 & BBC1) simultaneously with different presenters.
