*jing-a-ling*
IIEM, Redbeard's Brew, please
*grabs mug and coaster and heads to the piano*

I love playing the piano on a Sunday afternoon.
*starts with Scott Joplin's 'Solace'*
Hi Ook!
I'm going to keep it mellow for a while. I may pick it up later.
>Ook: Ook?<
You want to sit next to me, here, Ook? Come on. I also brought some music books. Maybe I'll have you turn pages for me a little later.
*starts playing 'Wedding Rain' by Liz Story*

Odradek (she who lurks, green Lifesaver-like)

*awakens, looks about hazily*

*scans message from recent visitor; decides to spend a relatively quiet day sipping tea (in silence) and staring out the window, contemplating the feasibility of starting to tramp out new forest paths*

llEM? An iced chai latte, please.
And with that l'll settle down quietly and read my book.

*returns to the piano*
It was Greebo T. Cat out there. She seemed to be upset, so I invited her in.
*looks.* Oh, good, there's still donuts left.

How about a little Billy Joel?
*begins to play 'Baby Grand'*

Witty Moniker

I noticed Greebo out there. I was just pokin' around her home page trying to see what the problem might be. I hope she comes in, too.

There's a special place in my heart for Billy Joel. He played in concert at my college when I was a sophomore. What a day! And Bruce Springsteen came up on stage for the encore. smiley - bigeyes 1975, what a year!

*Thinks... maybe it was '74, gosh that was so long ago*

What are you shopping for, Greebo? Hopefully something more interesting than car parts?

Redbeard, can you handle "Roasalita"?

Aroma Cafe: Featured in the Post Any Day Now

Post 96

Redbeard (Thanks to all who supported The Celery!))

That's a little trickier, Witty, 'cause I don't have the music for it. 'Rosalita's Eyes' isn't it?
Here's one in a different vein.
*launches into Billy Joel's piano solo 'Rootbeer Rag'*

Post 97

Odradek (she who lurks, green Lifesaver-like)

*suddenly sits up from reading*

Good lord. When did everyone come in here?
Hee. Hope l've not been rude...

'Nother iced chai latte, llEM.

*toes tapping to Rootbeer Rag"

That's good. I think you're referring to "Rosalinda's Eyes". I was referring to Bruce's "Rosalita, come sit by my fire". As much as I like Billy, I ~am~ a Jersey girl. Bruce is the man!

Odra: You have a dispensation, you're wounded (as Styx says). Join us, you must be feeling a little better by now.

You're right, Witty. Good catch.
I like to listen to Bruce, but don't often play him.
