Nope violence on the street, mayhem all around. Not able to get anywhere near my b/f even if we could get to Belfast. smiley - sadface

Lonnytunes - Winter Is Here

It is a bright sunny (not a cloud in the sky) day in my part of Kiwiland. A bit brisk outside where I have been reading the paper while the maid did her thing. Brrrr.

DD, I have just read a Belfast story headlined "Protestants keep up show of defiance." Sounds pretty rough.

Tea? Yes please Lil.

Oh no! Are you in the middle of that? Rotten news. I heard on NPR that the March on Sunday was in fact rather small by the standards of yesteryear, so it must be a really small core of troublemakers, who probably regret that The Troubles are over.

On a lighter note, DD, I'll be glad if you'll come to the Atelier on Thursday night for the send-off party for my cyber-nephew, who is leaving for Australia for the summer. Starts whenever, probably close to the start of off-peak rates in England! smiley - smiley

Spring in Aus/NZ starts officially September 1. Summer begins December 1. Of course your cyber-relation may be going to the Winterless North, a place I would love to be right now.

Irving Washington - Gone Writing

Will it ever end? Busy busy day today -- I have to leave soon, but I'll swing things up a bit by saying: Free LattŽs all around! My treat!

*wanders in, looking a bit sheepish, due to the fact that he hasn't been in in quite some time, and has sorely neglected his AC duties*
IIEM one very strong, long coffee and a mbougthingy. I tried to catch up but got through about 3 days, with 7 to go and gave up. Sorry smiley - sadface
RL has been a complete Alabaster the last few weeks. Anything I should be aware of? Just leave a message. Oh and btw, i got one of them orange badges on my page for my sins! Off to catch up on the Atelier. I'll be over there, by the window, watching the moonlight reflect off the beach and boardwalk.

Little Bo Peep - I've lost my sheep

I'm over here, outside the the window, eating the cheese scattered on the boardwalk and keeping a wary eye out for untrustworthy rats.

In the room the gentlemen come and go, talking of Michelangelo...

Babel, don't sit too close to Violet and be wary of Styx, he's turned into a real researcher. I thought I knew who he is at first, but I'm quite at a loss now. I can tell you who he isn't, but that's not much of a subset.

Well, Irv, shall I speak to you? You don't have much time for the cafe! *tries to frown menacingly, but it's not her style*

I may not get a chance to stop by again tonight -- if I don't come back, I'll see you all in the morning!

That would make two of us, only i appear to have missed about 10 days worth of interesting characters, not to mention some celery and webjello smiley - sadface If I ever get a chance I will need to go back over all of this, though considering my current access rate, that will be nigh on impossible smiley - sadface

Good for you. Oh how I envy your ability to work from home and that constant free access of which you speak. I am in a major low just now.

Hi guys -- just thought I would drop in for some anti-coffee before I go back to the studio for the evening, because at the moment every time I go back there I see the most recent post from Sporky and I start laughing all over again.

Indeed it was funny, though added to the crosswinds thing, not good!
Poor guy! I will need to see if I have any of his stuff kicking about, but if it is new stuff, a heavy loss for him to bear, esp those last couple he posted to the atelier last week.
