The nicest doughnut I ever had was a homemade one given to me for passover by a girl in my school. I wonder if I will ever experience such a perfect doughnut again?

Asleep all day? Essentially, yes...sigh. Such a layabout l am. Though l blame all the RBB l've been drinking lately -- caffiene tends to put me to sleep. Hence, l figure anticoffee, which appears to calm down everyone else...speaking of which *knocks back last of coffee* can l have another?
Mm. Donut.
So how have the day(s) l've missed been, then? (l haven't outslept the good Doctor, you know, who at last check was still comatose...)
And has anyone heard anything about that whole water-discovered-on-Mars thing? Has it gone official yet?

Actually, this was made for me by a musician friend of mine, who broke it while playing and crafted it into a necklace for his girlfriend, who decided it "wasn't quite her" and, as l was the only one present she thought strange enough to appreciate such jewelry, presented it, with much ceremony, to me. lt goes splendidly, l think, with my other necklaces, the one made out of a bottle cap and the one that features a flat metal washer of some description...
l'd be a musician had l the patience. l semi-play guitar, piano, violin, in order of descending proficiency. And l desperately want a set of bongos, but every Christmas and birthday l'm disappointed...sigh. l'll just have to keep repressing my dark and hidden beatnik desires...

Everybody I know in RL is a hugely talented musician or singer of some kind, except me!

On the plus side, bongos etc. have hidden dangers- I've heard tales of hoardes of exotic insects hatching from the more unusual drums at music colleges.

I have a friend who makes jewellery as a hobby, he made me this cool spiky ring, but it's so dangerous to other people I can't really wear it. I'd go to gigs and there'd be this trail of people behind me going "oww!", "what was that?", "my arm!!!" etc.

::washes up mug::

sorry loony, it's a bad habit, I just like sleeping on floors, especially in sunbeams. I wonder if Greebo does to, being a cat? Or indeed, fashion cat?

Do we have a skylight in the cafe, if not, perhaps I should request one?

If Digi didn't spend so long in the sunbeam from the window, that would be my permanent position... I love sunbeams!!!
