Yes, the café is a great place to interact, and the people are quite wonderful here. You're also doing the best thing by exploring and seeing what others are doing.

And as far as work avoidance goes, I know it all too well. I really intended to get one design job done tonight, so I think I'd better take care of that now. If the place empties out, don't worry about it. Ook knows how to handle things and people wander in and out all the time.

Yes, lots of interesting things are going on, but not anywhere near me.

They can actually go for extremely long periods of time with no kind of nutrition at all!!! (This is exclusive for this breed of flying reindeer)

In the off-season, they eat regularly every 33rd day. They are, however, gratefull for any kind of in-between snack, i.e. carrots, cabbage, corn, just about anything a rabbit would eat.

*drinks coffee and tugs self in long, white beard. Tries hard not to get coffee in beard, but does not succeed*

Hey everybody, look at this!
*Odradek is shown speaking to Redbeard: Oh...the Relativistic Heavy lon Collider. 'S in Brookhaven Rhode lsland, and it's a giant particle accelerator supposed to whack together lots of gold ions in order to simulate the starting of the Universe through recreating quark-gluon plasma.

Basically it's the cosmic equivalent of putting stuff in the microwave in order to see what it does. They're melting down a quark.

Anyway, in order to do this they're generating lots of energy, on the subatomic level, at least, and there were several theories that these experiments might just bring about the end of Life as we know it, by one of three means: turning Earth into a giant black hole, collapsing the entirety of space by putting it into a reverse-vacuum state,in which all forms of matter and particles as we know them could no longer exist, or turning Earth into a ball of "strange matter" by producing a "strangelet" that would eat the planet.

A new kitchen! Seems to me you should upgrade the name from stall to emporium.

I got so gobsmacked by the replay that I ignored orders. Has everybody got their coffe and donut needs met? Nice to see you Andromeda. You grew that beard awfully fast, Snata -- let me look in the broom closet and see whether we have ... how about some blueing? Old-fashioned stuff, but it works.
