A - I would think that I would need more practice, but the Chess Club on H2G2 sounds like a great idea.
kats-eyes - I like the ACE of cups Don't worry, I haven't made the greatest moves this round. Give us a chance and I'm sure we, or at least I, will start making sense

Hey, thanks, Kats-eyes. I'll try not to get syrup on the board. Don't worry, maybe one of these days I'll write a guide entry on Algebraic Chess Notation. Then people will understand. Maybe.
Anyway, I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to form an h2g2 chess league. Getting affiliation with a legal chess orginization might be difficult, but I think I could handle it. Wait a minute, who needs legal?
Okay, back to the game. Your move was . . . Rxf5? Ummm . . . excuse me, but . . . first of all, there isn't a pawn on f5. That's a knight. Second of all, isn't that your knight on f5? Or am I just really, really missing something?

Okay, I'm going to start a 'chess house' somewhere on h2g2. Maybe in this cafe, if they'll let me. However, I don't think we can go to tournaments right away. Hey, we might not be able to do them ever, but it might be nice to have a place you could go to see if there are people interested in chess. I'll get working on that. Anyway, it's your move. I think.
