...and then there's a story that I'm not sure of if it's a joke - repainting the Royal Castle in Stockholm - if it is true, then I hope they paint it in its original colours of yellow and orange (making it look a bit like gold) rather than the current dirt-brown shade...
...how about orange window frames to go with the goo-blue for your house Bee - or is that too daring?

Is there anything important hidden under the backlog? I have too much of it to catch so I won't even try unless you say I should.
IIEM, a blue java, please.
Huh! It's so great to be online again.

I don't think there's anything important that you should know about, Hati. We've been talking about the weather, the virtues of the VPB, games, and the fact that moggles don't wear pants...And then we started to talk about April Foolery. I read somewhere that Mocrosoft was going to buy Linux!
Good to have you back, by the way!
IIEM, a decaf please.

Weather is my favourite topic!
We have this winter that refuses to leave. Everything was almost , +10C and so. Them it dropped down to -10C and started to snow. Now it's considering which way to go around 0C. They say it'll snow again these days.

Here it's sun one moment, raining the next, and I'm sure I saw some big heavy snowflakes in that mix too... (We really should have an umbrella smiley!) Yesterday it was raining horizontally!

Doesn't have to look at the calendar to know it's April!
I'm really looking forward to the Easter holiday. I'm going to have ten days off!

Most of my days are off these days so it doesn't matter much to me. But I hope to have some house guests during Easter. We are making *plans*.

Cold winter does suck. Same thing is going on in my place. Just yesterday it was dry and all of the puddles were gone. I wake up this morning and what I see... As far as I can see snow. Even now its still snowing.
IIEM, can I have a HOT java. Thank you.

The sun is almost shining here now. And it is still cold. No temperature at all, 0C, that is. I wish I could do something about it.
Well, I can heat the house...

well, you can't really call 0C a really cold temperture. I read that in Iceland the temperture goes down to more than -100C. You must agree that THAT is really really cold.
To be honest I get chills from even thinking how people live there.

-100ºC on Iceland? Sounds like the same kind of source that spread the rumour that we have trouble with ice bears roaming in the streets of Stockholm!
As far as I know, the winters in the north of Sweden are considerably colder than the Icelandic winters - somewhere around -30ºC

We seem to be back to our usual spring weather of sunshine and showers.
Got stuck in a huge traffic jam for 2 hours yesterday and the weather couldn't decide on what to do, but at least it gave me a little light relief guessing on how soon I would need to turn the windscreen wipers on!

did everyone hear about the big squid that was caught of Antarctica, New Zealand? The poor boy was just finishing his lunch, the 2 meter Patagonian Toothfish.
