Oh yes, Caer - I did! If my photos come out any good, I might even write a story in the Post - not that I've ever written a travelogue before, but I might give it a try... managing to come up with 5 episodes so far of the Dark Times has made me wonder if there might actually be a writer somewhere deep inside of me...

*Hands out three Special!!! s*
Writing for the post can be quite fun, can't it? Although it's always disappointing when no-one comments on your articles.

Thanks! *sips tea*
You know, that was exactly what I was thinking - but then I realized that when I read the Post myself, I rarely post comments, even if I think the articles are good - I need to work on that, I think...

I think perhaps we all do. The problem with newspapers is that people are used to them being static - you can't have a conversation with them. Whereas with the Post, you can - yet people don't that much.
Which is a shame.

Hmmmm... what I enjoy most in RL newspapers is reading the "letters to the editor" column - maybe the Post should have something like that? Or maybe conversations belonging to the articles are the equivalence of that?

IIEM, a blue java, please.
*sits on the sofa and opens a newspaper (sorry, no English version), then turns on the light as it seems to be a very dark outdoors*

Ten in the morning and 30C already.. Not that I'm complaining, I like it naice and warm! Only I'd like it better if I was outside, and preferrably near some cooling water... The brat and I had us some lovely hours at the beach yesterday, it must have been way over 20C in the water!
And I think we had what we call a Tropical Night last night.(That's when the temperature never goes below 20C.) It's about time we got some real summer here. Just hope it keeps over the weekend.

Cloudy and still the feeling of approaching thunderstorm...
On my way to w*rk today I saw birches in two places with new, light green birch catkins - I sure hope they aren't going to burst into flowering a second time this year! Anyone else having the feeling of the weather getting weirder and weirder?

I just received our forecast for August. Not very promising, I'd say. First 10 days cold and wet, then 10 days almost average, then 10 days cold and dry. I could take a week off. 12-18/08 sounds the best...
I could even go to the summerhouse, closer to the sea...
Have you seen our new summerhouse on h2g2, Bumble?
