One-eye, Keeper of Dullness, Gentleman Of The Year 2000, sorry about that it has been a long and truely crappy day, what can I say. But no life is not all that it is cracked up to be, infact it is pretty awful at the moment.

This seems to happen around here these days. It is somehow connected with the long and neverending winter .
But it is important to remember that there should be no fights over the blankets and pillows!
What is it you are smoking there?
The Café With No Name
One-eye, KoD, gent, MuG, randomly available Posted Mar 23, 2001
Cigarettes, nothing funny (Don't think the Beeb would aprrove of that anyway...) The brand is "Petterøes Mild", a strictly Norwegian brand...
Why not, btw? Pillowfights are fun!
The Café With No Name
Hati Posted Mar 23, 2001
Not in the Café. I hate broken dishes and all that mess.
Is this Petterøes something you have to roll by yourself, the one with dog on the cover?

Greetings my friends
Another wonderful day! The sun is shining, it's Friday and there's a big chocolate-cake in the lunchroom.
It's not because of me, it's one of the neighbour-firms girls that's taking maternaty-leave, but it's also my wedding anniversary.
Mmmm cake!
One-eye, have you got your new car yet?

hi T, Bumble!
Hati; it's also available as tobacco, for rolling yourself, but I smoke the finished ones.
Bumble! Congrats on the anniversary! So how long have you kept up? I'm going in to Slependen to get car after work today!

Seventeen years. I was young and needed the money....
Are you really buying a convertible? That's what they are called, right?

Bumblebee Posted Mar 23, 2001
Oops, sorry I got to go.
Just got a call from my daughters teacher. The kid's not feeling so well so I better go home and be a good mom.
I don't think it's anything serious but you know how it is...
Sometimes a mom's gotta do what a mom's gotta do.
Happy weekend to you all

As I recall tobacco is extremely expensive in Norway. I spent a month in Norway some years ago and when I ran out of cigarettes it was a national disaster. For one pack of "Norwegian" cigarettes I could buy 8 here those days.

One-eye, KoD, gent, MuG, randomly available Posted Mar 23, 2001
Well, it hasn't gotten any cheaper...
One 20-pack costs, depending on whether you buy in a grocery store, in a gas-station or in a pub, from 55NOK to about 90NOK at a restaurant. Thats from 6US$ to nearly 10US$ or 4GB£ to 7BG£... In the words of Knut Schreiner of Euroboys: "They're takin' all of my money!"

Hi all,
IIEM Hot chocolate please, it's raining in Surrey. No surprise there then!
*drifts over to lava lamp*
U know i think that today is a perfect day to get mesmerised by the lamp. It's either that or getting mesmerised by the rain. Not a good idea when you have to concentrate on what people are staying to u over the phone.
*sits on cushoins in front of lava lamp hot chocolate cupped in her hands, breathing in the aroma. and drifting into daydreams*
