Hi John-the-gardner, nice to see we are not invading your peace and quiet too much. Can you sort out this Venus Fly Trap for me? I can't keep the sodding things alive no matter how hard I try. Thanks honey.

Well, actually no I wasn't, unless you're the dead plant lurking on my windowsill, and if you are I'm gonna sell you to the circus as you appear to be a bit more special than the average plant.

Very worrying having a name like "Bluebottle" with all these Venus Fly Traps around... Could we go somewhere safer next time, Phil?

"People who work in glass houses shouldn't get stoned..."(?) Something along those lines. Pass the bong. That reminds me of a joke I'll credit to Eric Idle...
"What's brown and sounds like a bell? Dung!"

John the gardener says, "Free Tibet!" Posted Oct 19, 2000
Hi folks,
Just popped by to ask anyone who hasn't already signed the
h2g2 Amnesty International Petition to please do so...
"We, the undersigned, support the aims of Amnesty International
and the freedoms enshrined in the Universal Declaration of
Human Rights. We call for the freeing of all prisoners of
conscience; the right to fair and prompt trials for political
prisoners; the abolition of the death penalty, torture and other
cruel treatment of prisoners; and the end of political killings and
human rights abuses."

Every dagblasted one of us ought to have our name on this!
Thanks.
