h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

The vampire slayers have invaded RavenBlack City. (Is RB some kind of massochist, maybe? ) Supposedly they are killable, but I couldn't even -see- the one who got me, and no idea how to 'kill' it. RB won't give any hints, other than the 'you can kill them' one. Anyone got the scoop on these?

The requested killer-humans at last

I have been away a few days, but I understand from the b'log in the FTA that you can follow them, and if you drink them, there may be hunderds of coins dropping in your pocketses.

So they are simply humans? With no extrordinary distinctions? (I'm one of those people mentioned in the faq (well, until I pointed out he'd forgotten to delete it) that are more annoyed with the implentation than overjoyed.)

I do not know (yet) as I never met one.

There are rumors the somehow are green, maybe their 'name' is colored.

I'd clicked on 'news in a new tab' and got hit for 50bp by a vampire slayer before I'd had a chance to flip to the new tab to read about the 'new faction'. Grrrrrrr. Didn't see a thing different (only one vamp in the square with me).

I've had the luck (?) to encounter two of the hunters. The first one I was lucky - he just ran without shooting, I pursued and caught him with a reward of: You extracted 47 pints of blood. You also found 3008 coins.

Basically, they will hit you for a loss of between 10 and 50 BP each time. Follow the directions to chase and kill. After you get the message about how much blood it has taken it always gives you where it has run to - SE, NW etc - and this is always just one square away. After around 6 moves the word 'human' will turn green - go get it and a big reward.

Stupid thing kept jumping north and south. Didn't take the time to see how much blood I lost (who cares anyway).

Yeah, those little green humans. They have nice purses, granted, but they never give back as much blood as they take (or only rarely do so).

I have halved my blood of my secondary (Mab) on hunters and she only had 500 in the first place. She doesn't have suction so if she finds a hunter she is leaving them well alone.

Heh.. know what you mean. I had mine close to five hundred, and have since been hovering between 0 and 20 (when I get lucky ), so if I see a vamp-slayer, I'm after them until my AP runs out.

I just got one with only 2 AP and got 4k+
