Yes! I am back!!! After a long hard weekend in my girlfriends garden pulling out weeds and doing other general garden type things!
I'm glad to see everyone enjoying the jam! I've added quite a few new jamming people! If I have missed you out, please let me know and I will put you on the list.... I have been gone for four days and I am trying to keep up!!!
And I am glad that a fight hasn't broken out over H2G2 spamming!
I don't like to call it spamming unless you are trying to sell a product for money!
I'd like now to play you an original I used to play in my old band called Mehelium....... You can listen to Mehelium here http://www.h2g2.com/A181720 and it's free! No Spam here!!!
Feel free to jam along.....
Dream of night and dream of day,
It's time to live through the pain,
No escape and you wonder why?
How to live and how to die.....
Dream of day and dream of night
It's time to make our endless flight,
Leave our homes and leave the world.
In freedom's arms forever held....

Welcome back!
How bout these (sorry, I've still not uplaoded any audio):
If I hadn't gone to the doctor's
I'd have never been in that wreck
If I'd never been in that car crash baby
I'd have never fractured your neck
You woke me up this morning
Just to tell me we were through
But if I hadn't gone to the doctor's
I'd a never fell in love with you
Sine Qua Non...
If I ever had finished Med School
I could have fixed my leg myself
If I moved a little closer to the pharmacy could have
Bought my painkillers over the shelf
But instead I rammed your car head on
I fell in love as our cars fell apart
But if I ever had finished Med School
You'd have never fractured my heart
Sine Qua Non...
But weren't you that girl in college
Who convinced me to drop out
And weren't you the lovely lady who tought me
What love was all about
You woke me up this morning
Just to tell me we were through
But when you get right down to the heart of it
The Sine Qua Non is you
Sine Qua Non...

*applause*
I've written quite a few songs, but I won't bring them here 'cos they're very depressing.
Really.

The Duke of Dunstable Posted Nov 2, 1999
I've got a comb and a piece of paper here. If I wrap the paper round the comb I can do special sound effects.

Danisbackfromlunch Posted Nov 2, 1999
Ah a comb player..... Did you know Hendrix played the comb on a couple of tracks, including 'Cross town traffic'

Is that the 'Doo do do do do doo' bit, like at the beginning? I came here after searching for info on something to spread on bread (a nice blackcurrant is my personal fave), but I like it here, though the jam is taking on a slightly avant-garde feel... I'd like to contribute guitar, but there seems to be enough, so can I play tambourine? My right arm can go for hours without missing a beat...

OK, but only if we don' have to wear those outfits! I understand why Josie was catty - those things must have really rode up...

Hey, Squint! You play marracas as well? I've got this neat little latin number that my dad wrote...

how many of us actually want to see that?
Let's Jam
Danisbackfromlunch Posted Nov 2, 1999
I just want to do one of those chase scenes...... Like in Josie and the pussycats in outerspace!
They always have cool music....
What about the Goodies that had groovy music too....
How did the song 'Run' go? I know Spiderbait did a cover!

I feel totally out of the loop. I wonder if it's my age or my nationality, or just plain cultural ignorance.

Danisbackfromlunch Posted Nov 2, 1999
Possibly abit of everything you mentioned....
Josie and the pussycats was a cartoon from the USA made in the late 70's and the Goodies was an English comedy show probably late 70's or early 80's

Josie and the Pussycats was made by the same group that made Scooby Doo and many of the chase scenes were made in the same vane. Lots of scenes of the girls running back and forth from some monster/ghost/ghoul/etc. Pretty cool over all, and I agree that they had some fun music!
