Welcome Kiriochi and Bob.
Hopefuly, the official greeters will stroll in when they've finished their naps. Until then, entertain yourselves with the complimentary and a of cream.
Here's a funny to celebrate your arrival.
Was watching some students perform at a recital recently. Of course, many of them don't have much experience on stage, so haven't conquered those odd mannerisms that can really distract the audience. Well, one girl was playing a fairly advanced piece called "The Hungry Cat and the Well Fed Cat." Lot's of "meow" like chords, of course. As soon as she came to the first long pause in the music, she reached up (not on purpose, I'm sure) and scratched behind her left ear.
Fleas, perhaps?

Welcome, TeaLover. So sorry about Boots! I know how sad you must feel to lose your fuzzy little friend.
Make yourself at home. The folks who started this thread seem to have disappeared, so it's been ev'ry for himself.
Take care!

Fish? We can do that. There's one and a couple extra for Elmo and Mando . But watch your back. The smell will attract others... dark shapes will glide through the grass and slink within the shadows...
As for the , you'll just have to make do with the virtual sort for a while.

So sorry to hear about your Boots. My heart goes out to you.
We've just acquired a kitten (rescue), Cinnamon Fluffy Jacobs Furry (we just call her Cinnamon), after a 1-yr break from the passing of my darling Sammy-cat.

And yes, upon the passing of my Sammy-cat, I took a day off from work so I could weep and wallow in grief without any bs from feline-phone.

Your remark about feline-phobes reminded me:
When a kitty I had raised from the bottle died after a long bout with heart disease, my vet sent a sympathy card. Next time I was in the office, I remarked on how sweet and unexpected. She said they did it partly because pet death is sometimes more likely to get teasing than sympathy.
Why would anyone be so insensitive? I'm not much of a dog person, but if someone's attached to their mut, I wouldn't make light if the dog died.

loonycat - run out of fizz Posted Jun 30, 2007
Hi folks, not been here a while.
Lost our lovely 15 year old black cat Pip back in March due to kidney failure Was so strange being moggyless after all that time. They give you so much and companionship. Funny looking back at all the antics they get up to over the years....
Wasn't 100% sure I was quite ready for another so soon but we now have a new addition to the family - a black and white terror called Mitzy She's sitting on my lap right now - sitting still for 2 seconds!

Congrats on the new kitty.
I'm not sure why some people have such a problem with people who are attached to their animals. Mine are part of my family and have a place in my heart.

Maybe they harden themselves against such sentiments because they are afraid of the inevitable loss.
Here's to our feline friends, past and present.

Well, help yourself then; there's plenty of !
But do watch out for the others. They alway like to lurk near when there's something smelly on the menu.
