Well Burns didn't notice when he 'started with the spare tyres on' apparantly the tyre blankets make all the difference you see,
*takes her gloves off as she really can't type like this*
whilst they're on none of the mechanics or drivers or anyone notice if there's a fault with the tyre until after you've set off and then you waste...ooh 30 seconds or so...
The main flaw in the plan is that I can't let his tyres down as he's very polite and was nice to me and I can't be mean...anyway what would that achieve? We could try to distract Gronholm as I've not met him so he might not be nice and polite...

*giggles*
Ummm chocolate? That would work...or I could sing him a song and he'd be so confused that he might forget he was supposed to be racing?

I was a bit tired before and I got Auriol and Gronholm mixed up, which was a bit silly as there's only two names to remember in the title race; Gronholm and Gwyndaff Evans. Wait, that's not right.
Maybe we could "spill" some Tip-Ex over his pace notes.

Hmmm...that could be dangerous though...we just need him to get too distracted and forget to turn up for the race and then Burns will win and it'll all be joyful...
*thinks*
If I showed my support for Burns with 'Go Richard' after Tinkerbell would that be too confusing?

Well I stopped 'grinning happily' ages ago so surely I should be allowed a little tiny bracket?

Bagpuss Posted Nov 23, 2000
I suppose so, though you could wait until after the weekend to see if you feel like grinning again.

Menza Posted Nov 23, 2000
Unfortunatly I'll miss most of the racing this weekend.

Tinkerbell *tumbleweed* Posted Nov 23, 2000
I don't think I'll be grinning at the weekend and I don't think I'm going to be able to watch any of the racing so I'll just have to read it in Autopsport next week
What are you doing menza, anything fun? Are you going to the meet-up thingy?

Bagpuss Posted Nov 23, 2000
Aw. I'll let you know if there's good news. In fact first bad news is that the BBC didn't show it's preview today. Or Buffy

Tinkerbell *tumbleweed* Posted Nov 23, 2000
They didn't show it? But it said 7.30...I set the video whilst running out the door and everything...
*looks sad*
I wanna go to the meet-up, no fair

Tinkerbell *tumbleweed* Posted Nov 24, 2000
Things are a bit tough at the minute so I don't think I'd be particularly good company and it'd be hard to get there at the minute.
*grins*
But I'm relying on Photos from people so I expect you to assemble yourself in the group photo whilst displaying your footballing skills so I can see if you were exaggerating about your lack of footballing ability

You'll have the first half of Liverpool FC v some Greek team on tape. Followed by a REPEAT of Fred Dibnah.
Me, I'm waiting for a Leeds meet-up. Or possibly I could be bothered to go to York, though that's inadvisable at the moment.

*looks proud*
Our village was the only place left in the whole of here that still had a severe flood warning...even after York
