Oh dear! Or was it very nice toast?

On the subject of white consumables I sold my tumble drier yesterday Hurrah! It's been consuming a tumble drier sized space for about 18 months now while I get round to fixing it (it cuts out after about 5 minutes). I couldn't bring it home with me over the summer, though, and couldn't leave it in Portsmouth, so I took it round to a second-hand-white-goods shop with a mind to giving it to them and they asked me how much I wanted for it. I asked for £30 and agreed on £20. Fantastci! Think I'll find a job dealing with kidnappers.

Just lost my £20 (yes, the very same note) somewhere between my house and the Millhouses Pub on Abbeydale Road, where I've just been to a pub quiz (I know, sad, but I know people who like that sort of thing. I never understand why they always have such a limited time-span of music). I bet it's when I pulled our mascot inflatable-dead-parrot out of my pocket.

Gaaaaaaaa, why does Cakewalker always leave before I get here! I know that pub, that pub's where I know, I drink in that pub, my mates fiancee lives opposite that pub...much excitement *bounces at coincidences of life*, did I ever tell you about the time I was in a Canadian forum and after chatting to someone for 5 weeks found out they lived two miles down the road from me...well this is similar...*stops bouncing* except I've never spoken to Cakewalker because he's always gone before I get there...hmmmm

He doesn't seem to get here very often anymore.

Why have all these old threads been resurrected, is there anything interesting happening in any of the others? Scandal and intrigue and the like?

Anyway, Cakewalker is always the person who posts before me but never returns...I want to work out if I'm unknowingly sitting next to him in the pub or whether he's the one who always pushes in front of me on the way to the bar, either way it's annoying *has the brain wave of leaving a message on his homepage and flutters off wondering why it took her five weeks to think of it*
