Well it appears that the young daughter of Lord Halifax who was married to Sir Richard De Witt last summer was seen coming out of the King's bedchamber, her hair a mess and her clothes much rumpled. And not a day later poor Sir Richard was sent off to on an ambassadorial mission to Saxony and the court of the Elector from which he is unlikely to return for at least a month.

Methinks Sir Richard has been cuckolded by his monarch.

I've been having a strange day, I spent the first half with the side effects of the meal we had yesterday.

And then spent the second half rummaging around under the floor trying to lay cables.
