...some for me and none for you.... la la la...
Git yore 'ot poyz eeeeeaaaaahhh!
As an accompaniment to the dlicious beige beverages, let me induce you into the way of my's pies. Try my introductory offer of a ginger snap and buttered crumpet pie, with the crust on the inside!
And don't forget, a vote for Merkin is a vote for an iambic pentameter (or something).

Thanks, don't mind if I do. Tea? I've just brought in a selection of Twining's speciality blends, so there should be something to suit.

MMmmmm.
Earl Grey. With an aromatic hint of Bergamot and a slice of lemon.
Gorgeous.
Vlad.

Very much so. No milk, of course. Fresh lemons over there by the fridge, I think. Kettle's just boiled

There! A nice slice of lemon.
I'm never quite sure whether the Bergamot in Earl Grey is from the Orange or the Herb of the same name...
*slurp*
...not that it really matters.

Hey, H2G2 made it into G2 in The Guardian today, which probably means nothing to anyone outside the UK.
Got quite a good write up, 2.

Oh, sorry to butt in. I know there's nothing more annoying than someone reading the paper over your shoulder but I really would like a look at that article.
Got any herbal brews in here? I ate too much at lunch and could really do with a cup of peppermint infusion to help my indigestion.
Burp.
Pardon me.

(opens small wooden box) There's a small selection here, but if you can't find what you want I'll pop into Waitrose on the way home

Oh thanks, no need to put yourself out though – you’ve got just the thing in here. Ummm. That’s better.
Now that I’ve got the tea I’d better get started on the chat …
Er, do you come here often?
T42&24T
Vladimir Posted Oct 8, 1999
Fairly often.
*Munches on ginger snap*
It's a nice place to relax away from the trials and tribulations of other, more alcohol related forums.
*slurps tea*
Its soooooooo much more civilised in here.

Yes, I’ve noticed that no matter how innocently a conversation begins around here before too long everyone starts throwing noxious fluids down their necks. No chance of that in here though. Thank goodness.
So Vlad (if I can call you that), what’s the deal with the pies then?
T42&24T
Vladimir Posted Oct 8, 1999
The deal with pies is... I like them! I live in the region that invented Pork Pies and Stilton and seem to have grown up with an understandable fixation on savoury snacks. As such I am the hot pie vendor for Frink's softball team and you sometimes get unusual requests...
But some times it's nice to just kick back and nibble the biccies.

So have you been to see American Pie yet? From what I’ve seen the pie in question is sweet, not savoury but it looks like quite an amusing film all the same.

Sorry, excuse me, that's my laptop tucked down beside the chair ther. Thanks! Actually, perhaps I'll stop for a quick cup of Earl Grey. Kettle on?

Hey all! It is much less rowdy here than in the bar or lounge, isn't it? Especially the lounge, which has been a very dangerous place of late........

If things got too heated someone might spill their tea on that rather nice Aubusson rug, which would be a great shame. Tea? There's a fresh pot just made.

One of the better things about virtual tea: a virtual teastrainer. By virtue of being virtual this is perfect in every respect
