Picking up the Mensa Thread!!! Help!!!!

I intend to pick up this old Mensan Thread, but do not fully understand the Computer Jargon on picking up, editing and posting. As a lapsed Mensan, I would like to tidy it up, and add some unfinished info, then post, but I am an 'entry-virgin'.
Any help would be much appreciated, so that this tired thread can be put to bed.
