It's a well-written piece, Pilgrim. Sorry I didn't get around to looking at it earlier. If you intend putting this into Peer Review, to become part of the Edited Guide, there are a few things that need to be changed to make it fit in with our standards:
Don't put a header at the very start.
Don't put a picture on it. The Eds will provide a picture if they feel they can find a suitable one, but they won't ever re-use and existing picture, so your entry will probably end up in the Guide without a picture.
Don't put BBC Links section at the end. I know that lots of existing entries have them, but they're no longer approved and we're in the business of removing them by hand. Instead, put the links intoa references section after the tag:
Title to appear in right margin
Title to appear in right margin
Rather than putting "Click here for h2g2 general entry on C S Lewis" you should just put a link to that entry on the name CS Lewis the first time you refer to him. You don't have to call attention to the link.
Edited Entries can't have links to Entries which are not yet Edited, so for the first of your Lewis entries you should not link to any of the rest of them. The links can be added later when the other Entries become edited.
C.S. Lewis --> CS Lewis (that's the h2g2 House Style)
short novella the Great Divorce --> short novella The Great Divorce
There are a few typos:
gets it title --> gets its title
oxymorinic --> oxymoronic
no-mans land --> no man's land
seperate --> separate
The Pilgrims Progress --> The Pilgrim's Progress
To the souls of the lost that choose to remain they gradually decay to Hell -->
The souls of the lost that choose to remain gradually decay to Hell
Ultimately those who willfully seperate themselves from God in life will choose to do so in the afterlife is Lewis's thesis.
-->
Ultimately those who willfully seperate themselves from God in life will choose to do so in the afterlife; this is Lewis's thesis.
the Authors excercise of artistic license -->
the author's exercise of artistic license
after world --> afterworld
It isn't that just that I don't believe in God -- I think this should probably not have the first "that" removed.
as a Atheist --> as an atheist
said that believing in God and an afterlife was the last thing he wanted to believe in
-->
said that God and an afterlife was the last thing he wanted to believe in

There are still one or two small things that could be changed, but they won't stop it going into Peer Review.
Change and to and . I've never seen before and it is not standard GuideML. will work.
Author in the first line doesn't need a capital letter.
With those fixed, I think you should put it in Peer Review.

Thank you for writing about this book.
One note: I've always thought that George MacDonald of 'The Great Divorce' was the Victorian writer who had a great influence on Lewis. He died in 1905 and Lewis couldn't have been acquainted with him. Doesn't Lewis describe the impression one of MacDonald's books made on him in 'Surprised by Joy'?
a typo in the fifth paragraph : separate

"Redeemed humanity is still young, it has hardly come to its full strength. But already there is joy enough in the little finger of a great saint such as yonder lady to waken all the dead things of the universe into life." - The Great Divorce, chapter 12.
This is one of my favourite quotes from 'The Great Divorce'. I find the concept of joy very important in C.S.Lewis's understanding of christianity. Do you think you might like to add this quote?
Regards
