Films seen recently, the Vanessa Redgrave version of 'The Day Of The Triffids'.

A very different psychodrama from the 1960s version or the original Wyndham novel.

Worth the watching.

Tonight I plan to see "Every day"

Last night, Aaron Spelling's "A Cold Night's Death", featuring Robert Culp and Eli Wallach.

One of Spelling's early features, a bit scratchy and showing an Ivan Tors influence, not without a distinctive Spelling twist.

"Every Day" has originality going for it. The idea of having someone wake up in a different person's body every morning hasn't been used before, at least in the movies I've seen. Virginia Woolf's "Orlando" was kind of similar, but the new identities lasted more than one day.

Sounds a bit like Quantum Leap smiley - biggrin

Last night we watch the Clooney version of Solaris. General consensus was "At least it wasn't a long film."

So we then followed it with Ghost Rider, which is good fun but could do with more happening in it.

After Ghost Rider you could consider "Ghost Writer"
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1139328/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_31

Or "Ghost story"
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt6265828/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_7

Or even just "Ghost"
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099653/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

(Sorry if that's too much information)

But whatever you do, don't watch 'Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance'.

Ever.

Oh gods, they've basically ignored the first film for its back story.
Bad move.

Watched the first episode of the "Topper" TV series last night.

My favorite TV show back during the time it was still in production.

You mean the one with Leo G Carroll, Robert Sterling, and Anne Jefferies, not to mention the Saint Bernard? I loved that show. smiley - biggrin
