I usually use the countersunk delve-rod by the wrong end for that Icy - but I believe you can be blackballed for that now.
I mean, I can understand why - too many people were misusing their 7.5s - but there has to be a bit of flexibility from the regulators, I think.

Well for goodness sake, buy a six-pack of inflexible regulators! They only need a smearing of Tiger Balm (Vicks will also do) and Bob's your auntie.

Leave them to soak in a tumbler of tizer overnight - they will either dissolve completely or be good as new

I think I've really gone and done it this time, folks - I used the Gribben key before I realise it was a K-192.
Is there any way I can disengage the chamfer rods now, or have I cocked it up beyond repair?

Gribben key r-io-98-6543765 will fit the bill.
Alternatively, a whack from a mallet usually gives similar results, if done-how shall I phrase this-delicately.
