Entry: 'Help!' - the Film and Album - A13610620
Author: Jimster (What are YOU writing right now?) - U292
And this might be my last Beatles entry - I really don't want to do The White Album.

This PR thread is like my King George VI, one comment in a week?
OK, I'll do my bit
Great entry J...ooh! it's the Boss! Great entry Jimster! I look forward to subbing it
Just one teensy nitpick:
Another Girl - title of a song, should be in quote marks
This includes my all-time favourite Beatles track, and now I've got the tune going round in my head, so thanks

Great - I still remember going to see the film and hardly being able to hear a word for the screaming for the first 10 minutes.
I remember the scene with the 4 houses, John going up to the bookcaes, triggering a secret panel, spinning it round to reveal multiple copies of his own book.

my favourite scene is the one with Ringo (or is it Paul?) in the pit with the tiger, when they have to whistle Beethoven's 9th. Eventually there's a whole football stadium singing along. and evermore that piece is "The Tiger Music"
Nice entry
I have nothing to say except that it features my 2nd favourite Beatles song.

*sighs*
Honestly, I go through the entire entry with a reasonably fine-toothed comb, and I find that you haven't left any mistakes for us to find.

Why do you list the girlfriends of Paul, George and Ringo but fail to mention John's wife's name?
3000 --> 3,000
also called Help!. -- I don't think you need a full stop at the end of that.
London Pavillion -- can you check that it is Pavillion (two L's) and not Pavilion (one L)?
August, '65 --> August, 1965
Lennon / McCartney --> Lennon/McCartney
10 May, '65 --> 10 May, 1965

A delightful read. I had to struggle to come up with anything at all to pick at, but here goes:
This is embarrassingly nitpicky - since the title refers to the 'Film and Album', shouldn't the first header use the word 'Film' instead of 'Movie'?
>>...a slower-tempo version of the song that's guaranteed to make a grown adult cry.<<
To make a grown man cry is considered more of a feat, since making a grown woman cry is relatively easy - unless you mean this to be non-gender biased and politically correct. (also embarrassingly nitpicky - sorry)
Umm, well, that's about it.

Thanks for the feedback, all.
I've incorporated almost everything, except the revised date notation. We do say (somewhere, I'm sure) that years should be given in full in the first instance; thereafter they can be abbreviated. And yes, I did change 'grown man' to 'grown adult' just to avoid that very point
I *think* I'm done now... anyone disagree?

(And a big nyar nyar to anyone complaining about the number of Beatles entries. )

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.
If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.
Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
