I didn't mean for me, I meant the *older* members of the group. Wumbie's getting on a bit in his years, so he is...

The bowling alley at Parrs Wood is right next to East Didsbury railway station, which is on the line from Manchester Piccadilly to Manchester Airport... if that helps anyone coming in by train.
From the bowling alley, getting to Rusholme and the Curry Mile isn't a problem.
me[Andy]g, actually doing the posting himself this time round!

I am NOT old
...I'm #£@%^&* decrepit.
Now young me[Andy]g, is there a pensioner's discount at this new-fangled bowling thingy, and do they sell half pints of mild?

Aww, Wum is not old. He's just... er... mature. Like a pair of Kevin Keegan's footie boots or a very fine cheddar.
Actually, maybe 'mature' isn't a word that is generally associated with Wumbeevil. Unfortunately, due to BBC restrictions, I can't say what words /are/ usually associated with him.

Venerable? VENERABLE!
I'll have you know that throughout my life I have followed the teachings of the blessed Widdy (usually not by choice, mind you) and there's no chance of me catching one of those thingies.
As for you Chergal , chunder is not spelt c-h-e-d-d-a-r, but thanks for the compliment anyway.
OK so you reach East Didsbury station from Piccadilly, are you on the right side for the bowling?
Key: Complain about this post
