Hey, can I vote for bowling, for two reasons:
1) you can talk to one another during bowling far easier than you can during a film. And consume alcohol, etc.
2) the Parrs Wood centre is 2 mins away from my house...

Hey we're talking Stockport-Peterborough here, the players would rather pick your nose and eat it than turn up to be heckled by three pensioners and a dug, if only you'd charge them less for the privilege.

Hey, are we still talking about going to the Royal Naz? If so has anyone seen the MEN tonight? http://www.manchesteronline.co.uk/news/stories/Detail_LinkStory=78293.html

Eeep!
Nope hadn't seen that, not booked anything yet, that's on my to do this weekend list, so we can easily change it.
I'm open to recommendations if you don't wanna go there.

Hello
If it's going to be bowling, I might come. Don't know about the evening yet, might not be able to get home after...
So put me down as a possibly-maybe please

Yeah - we're all too poor to afford poppadums so we use flaky bogies instead!

Looks like Bowling is winning, is everyone happy to do that?
It may mean changing meeting place form the Waterhouse to the Whitworth for people bowling, unless we do everything the long way round .
Depends on timetable I guess, will work this out on the weekend

Candi, will you be coming by train?
Daylong Meet?
Wumbeevil Posted Jan 18, 2004
You train fords' bogeys?
My own special dip is the pistatchoo hedgehog, a verdant green nosepic jelly, topped off with a fine sprinkling of nasal hair.

Before I do any booking - do we want to change from the Royal Naz (see message 48 from Granny)?
Unless someone plans to pay by card I don't think it will make any difference, however if you don't want to go there, please tell me - if so can anyone recommend an alternative restaurant?

Yes, Granny, I think the train would be easiest, I can get a direct one from here....don't know Manchester very well, though, so I'll have to look at maps to find the meeting place/bowling alley.
How much does bowling cost these days? Only been once, and didn't have to pay that time....I know it's quite expensive.

I'm still game for the Naz so long as someone reminds me to get some cash out first - I don't usually dirty my hands with the stuff thesedays!
