Lady Pennywhistle - Back with a vengeance! [for a certain, limited value of Vengeance; actual amounts of Vengeance may vary] Posted Feb 19, 2005
Whoops, I almost forgot this thread... This place really is very quiet lately, isn't it?
Anyway, following my recent visit to Amman, I now have an entry in PR - A3624699 for the entry, F48874?thread=595687 for the comment thread. Any feedback would be appreciated.

It's not in Peer Review yet, but I thought I'd give a quick plug to AlexAshman's project on the Station-by-Station guide to the London Underground, which is over at A3363833... a bit of a mammoth undertaking so if anyone can help out, I'm sure you'd be more than welcome

Hello!
Got a mammoth entry on Jerusalem incubating: its taking three to hatch it. hopefully it'll join peer review in a month or two...
this bar seems awfully quiet. I know its full of serious geographers, but shouldn't there be at least one or two people dancing on the chairs?
have a drink, anyone?

Gnomon - time to move on Posted Mar 3, 2005
I'm not working on any Geographic entries at the moment, but I'm planning on going to Athens in three weeks' time so I'll be doing a big update on the existing Athens entry when I get back. I might take in a few other sights in Greece while I'm there (Mycenae, Epidauros, Santorini, Mykonos?).

OK, hi Lady P- you're acknowledged.
I have a new entry on Akko, the number... I'll go get. Meanwhile my last entry on Be'er Sheva is just vegetating, and I cant locate the scout who said he'd reccommend it, and hasn't.

Lady Pennywhistle - Back with a vengeance! [for a certain, limited value of Vengeance; actual amounts of Vengeance may vary] Posted May 5, 2005
Haven't read the new one yet Leo, but just a first note: the proper English name is Acre, so they'll probably want you to use that. You can later explain that it is Akko in Hebrew and Aka in Arabic, if you want to.
Key: Complain about this post
