Hi Kelli... thought me should respond to your comment about the posting of word play... and the subsequent posting by Shazz of a word...
Shazz has no more idea what letters are going to be posted than any other researcher on h2g2... to be honest... until Wednesday evening the letters haven't even been decided by me... she does not have a sneak preview of Word Play, nor does she have anything to do with the running of the quiz... it is mine and mine alone...
She does not even know when me will be posting the quiz up... she only knows as every one else who plays that it will appear sometime between 11pm Wednesday evening and 2am Thursday morning... The only advantage that Shazz might have is that she is always on h2g2 when the quiz is posted... but then so are a lot of people as you can see by the number that get their words in very quickly...
As Shazz has no knowledge of what the letters are going to be... and she rather enjoys Word Games... and would love a trophy to adorn her page... me thinks she is as entitled as everyone else to have a go... if me thought there was any cheating going on... me would be the first to stop it... plus me knows that Shazz herself would never stoop to cheating on anything... takes all the fun out of things really doesn't it...
Me has never shown ANY favouritism in any of my games or quizzes and never will do... ~grin~...

I have always been confused about when the post actually gets posted - the fact that it is the wee small hours certainly explains it
