Should there be a link to a page that explains the Community Art scheme? Or is that to follow later?

Well I think they're trying to slow us down
"yes I shall require a portrait of myself... and a banner for "

The link will be going in shortly, we had to wait for them to work before we did it. RF22

Anyway... I shall require-
1- A blob portrait of myself
2- Lots and lots of portriats at different angles of
3- A banner that announces to the world I AM JODAN!

A procedural type query as to the use of the Community Art review forum...
The current wording of the page seems to be asking people to manually enter stuff into the conversation forum below the page... as this _is_ a review forum wouldn't it be better to ask people to 'submit for review' the front page of their club (following the same procedure as for Peer Review etc.) - that way you've got a guaranteed link to the page in question and a standard format of subject line for the forum which is bound to make things easier to keep on top of later on - rather than 200 conversations all entitled "I want a banner" and "My club's the greatest"

I'm sure the CAs must have talked about this when they tested it?
You can't really enter stuff manually as there's no 'Discuss' buttons on a RF page. And you would expect pages for Clubs to be 'Not for review'. Which means that a club owner who wants to apply for an image have to
1) Edit the club to be for review
2) Submit the request
3) Edit the club to not be for review again.
Complicated...

If your own entries are not available for review, you can still submit them. If I remember correctly, I've got the submit button on everything now.

I've jst realised that there is some text missing from this page. Give me time to let my lunch settle, and I'll tweak it.

When I originally wrote the text we didn't think that we could make new review forums, but happily, we were wrong.
I've updated it now. Thanks for pointing it out.

Thanks...
Oh and "I've got the submit button on everything now"... yes Mina, but you haven't forgotten you get paid to play with h2g2? You've probably got lots of buttons the rest of us don't get to play with....
However much we'd like to

Hmm, you're right. I really thought you still had the link.
In that case Researchers will have to untick the box to submit it. It's only what has to be done with other types of submission anyway, so it shouldn't be a problem.
Key: Complain about this post
