As far as HTML, XML and stuff so, I'm about to embark on the funky job of re-writing the entire Don't Panic section (FAQs to you and me). One of them will cover all sorts of HTML wizardry... so if you really don't want to know, close dem eyes.

Oh no, I knew this day would come! If you reveal the secret, the protest ends.....of course, that is supposed to be the point of a protest, but this protest is just for fun. Oh well, at least now I can say an editor read one of my pages....

Well, you can always proudly display a sticker on your lapel saying that you've studiously avoided reading the FAQ on moral grounds.

No worries. I've discovered a new use for the HRTF graphic. I just post the (ever so long) URL in forums when folks, well, HRTF.

I'm resisting the use of margins because I already find most of this confusing. Am I the only one though who thinks that the more gimmicky pages get, the less researchers will have to say? All style and no content whereas I am going for the full content but completely socially inept pages!

'Fraid I won't be using the "referenced researcher" trick any time soon. Not for any phylisophical reason, though. I just don't have the time to sc**w with it!

Ginger - I agree completely! Of course, my page is a complete mess of information, but it is a mess reasonably clean of gimmicks. That's why GIRR is still around, even though the protest has ended....
