That is something for the management, the Editors had them creating a centralised structure for the departments, I can not change anything.
You are welcome by the way

Hi there seraphicDigitalis! I recognise you from ML, I think. French and Spanish depts not very active at the moment - I occasionally pop up in the French-speaking thread, which is at: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/F1819939?thread=424953&skip=380&show=20 or perhaps: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/F1819939?thread=436405&skip=100&show=20 annie_cambridge AKA annie_ms

Hello!!! Yes, I look at ML de vez en cuando (from time to time) and occasionally drop a sour note.
I looked at both these threads, and nothing seems to have happened for quite a time, so it doesn't look as if it's worth adding to either of them. That's a pity. The Spanish one is staggering gently along, with perhaps 3 or 4 posters, I'm delighted to say. Perhaps somebody will here if we keep twittering, et si on ajoute un soupçon de français? (and if we add a tad of French!)
J'espère qu'on pourra bientôt établir un groupe francophone....
I hope we'll soon be able to establish a French-speaking group.

ah, hi, I'm sorry, I was very busy during the last weeks, I completely missed this post
Welcome to the Language Thing.
Yes, unfortunately most threads are empty. The Spanish thread is still alife and the German one comes and goes.

Well, hello! My recent silence was due to absence from home without a telephone, not to reluctance to continue this vain attempt to drum up some francophiles!
Shall we just keep on dropping the odd line in, er, espoir? (=hope)?
I'm happy to chat, but you know what they say about those who commune with themselves....

I seem to spread apathy wherever I go! I'm interested in all three of the above, but the rooms are deathly silent. Where is everyone?
and Is this the plague flag?

Oh, is Titania from Finland? Id didn't know that.
She's of Finnish stock (!) living in Sweden, and appears to be a superb linguist. And player of Oblivion.......
She's the sort of person one could envy if one were not so well brought-up.

My German is execrable. I can never forgive the Germans for their treatment of adjectives. All those endings one had to Learn By Heart. Don't suppose they do it that way now, but it did rather put me off. I could probably hope with survival level conversation, but my posts would be covered with red underlinings and comments in the margin!!
I'll give 'em a bell though.
