Merci beaucoup! J'ai quatorze ans, et je suis assez fatigues tous jours!
You don't need it translating, do you?

The House Rules require that all postings be in English, because moderators can't read foreign languages to know if offensive things are being said. That's why we do the translating thing.

Oh...! Ok! Well, I said:
Merci beaucoup! J'ai quatorze ans, et je suis assez fatigues tous jours!
Thanks very much! I'm 14, et I'm always quite tired!
Is that ok?

Hi nortirascal!
I'm afraid the Language Thing isn't too active nowadays, but feel free to check out the Spanish department at A2660087 and see if you can revive some activity there.

Hi, guys. Here I (Tavaron) am now, and trying to get everything in order again. I'll start updating the pages and we'll do some advertising now. Whoever wants to take over an inactive Department please tell me.

Ah, I'm great to see this, because I certainly have no time to keep things in order. Thank you.
I don't have the time to take on any responsibilities, but I'll certainly stay subscribed and help out in my intermittent way if possible.

I don't think I'm on regularly enough to be responsible, but I will definitely be staying around!

Excellant Tav, glad someone is making the effort. One of the members is already teaching me in "Learning Spanish", if that adds to your portfolio. I was moderated for writing one reply entirely in espanol, it may be worth reminding everyone, an English translation is required by the moderators.

great to see you all
The thing about translating is written on every department page, but yes, if new people come I'll post reminders and I hope whoever will be heads of the departments will help me there because if this place really gets busy again I can't be everywhere and see everything.

Hello, i'm 4me-2me (U7702075) and I would be please to teach french to some people who'd like to.
Before, maybe it'll be appreciate to have more information about this program, I search around but I don't find very much information on the duty of a teacher...

Hi there again 4eme-2eme! We've already met on the French-speaking Thread I think.
There's a brief description of what Learners and Teachers can expect in the French Department of the Language Thing: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/brunel/A2658684
Basically, I think you just need to hang around the French-speaking Thread and people can ask you if there are structures/usages/vocab they are not sure about.

OK then! It seems fair enough!
Can I also have my name on the page you'd just indicated or we need to help a bit before?
Ok alors! Cela me semble correcte!
Puis-je aussi avoir mon nom sur la page que vous venez d'indiquer ou il faut que j'aide un peu avant?

I've asked the Language Thing to put your name up as a Teaching Researcher. I'm not sure how it works, or how long it will take, so you might need to patienter un peu (be patient for a while)!
