Sounds etheral. However guide style is for non personal, so you should not use the personal pro-noun.
Whilst the mention of the Ganges will direct people to India, a more precise location would perhaps enable people unfamiliar with the sub-continent to determine if their itinery will allow them to visit.
You've mentioned a great deal of history is connected to the City, but don't tell us any of it, not everyone will be able to physically make the trip, built them a melange of sights, sounds and smells to so at least they can appreciate the atmosphere.

Erm, I hate to sound thick, but where is it? Apart from the reference to the Ganges, the entry didn't offer much of a clue.

Hi
I modified the entry a bit to take into account your views.
I hope it gives a better picture now.

you shouldnt use opinion at all, or the pronoun 'one'. we need more facts, and subheaders, to set it out better. also, ganja a mystica; experience does not make

Hmmmm.... The author doesn't appear to have been around for quite awhile.
I agree that this is an interesting topic for an entry, but it really leaves me hanging with all sorts of basic questions unanswered. The entry seems to address more the "tone" of the area rather than more concrete issues.

Well, I could potentially agree with either one.
It's worth moving to the FM if there is enough substance to the entry that someone could turn into something EG suitable with a little elbow grease. Frankly, I don't think this one really meets the "substance" bar. On the other hand, we sometimes send entries to the FM that are short on substance, but are intriguing enough that they might inspire someone to write an entry that wouldn't otherwise be written. I think this one might fall into that category.

I vote for the FM, on this one... anyone that's been there and knew the place would surely be inspired by this if they found it there.
