Last year, the letters between Prof. W. Pauli, Nobel Laureate, Physics, and Dr. Carl Jung, were published under the title, Atom and Archetype. Pauli and Jung discussed the nature of mind for some 25 plus years, and concluded that a 'synchronicity principle' was active in the universe, meaning that unrelated events can come together in ways that defy our common sense notions of cause and effect. One of the main conclusions concern the nature of numbers as a pre-existent archetype of order that has become conscious. In other words, the natural numbers are a bridge between psyche and matter.
In 1993., researchers at the advanced lab, PEAR, Princeton University, emphatically verified details proving the synchronicity principle, and the psychic relativity of space and time.
Some of the details can be viewed at the following sites.

For those interested in understanding the deeper layers of mind, this site maintained by Dr. Remo Roth, offers greater details.

Todd? (You can put in a nickname to replace the inelegant 'Researcher 236185' by clicking on 'preferences' and if you enter something in your personal space then an ACE will be around to offer more tips, and other researchers can leave you messages)
This conversation thread has been added to the entry. If you are suggesting it would be valuable to include points in the entry itself (since this entry is in the process of Peer Review, and thus can be amended) it is best to post to the Peer Review thread, that can be accessed from the Peer Review link at the top of the entry on the right.
I have to say though that I don't immediately see the relevance of your post to the entry on Nash. The links also don't seem to mention Nash. What is your point?

Hello Pimms: As you can see, I'm new to this board, and haven't looked too closely at the procedures....
Anyway, psychologists rarely look beyond their noses when an individual tries to explain experiences involving the deeper layers of mind, or the archetypal realm, as Jung called it. Nash was probably in that dimensional template, which is discussed on the site posted. How do we know that dimension is real?, well, the researchers were able to verify every detail of my experience, which involved dreaming precognition, and other aspects of mind and matter.
I've left out some major details for various reasons, but the dream is posted, and the reply from the the research group, which plainly indicates they agree with the conclusions.

Are you suggesting that schizophrenia, at least in Nash's case with delusional voices, were true experiences, that were dismissed by psychiatrists because they didn't understand where the voices came from?
It could be argued that even if this were true it prevented Nash from coping with 'real life' as it is normally meant, and thus was not a beneficial aspect to his consciousness, which makes it understandable why schizophrenia is treated as a delusional illness - for the benefit of allowing the individual to interact with other people.
This is however tangential to a brief biography of Nash, so I don't intend to expand the entry to include this (possibly because I'm still not sure I've understood what you are talking about )

Hi Pimms, I really don't know how to say it any simpler than I did, the verification from Princeton University researchers prove that an aspect of our minds, i.e., the psyche can transcend our notions of space and time, which accounts for all so-called 'synchronistic experiences' reported. Every author I've read has their own 'pet' terms for this reality. The physicist Pauli called it 'beta radioactivity', Von Franz calls it the 'one continuum', and I use, Quantum Reality.
Here is one example posted by the researcher John Smythies, Center for Brain and Cognition, University of California.
This paper describes a new theory of consciousness
based on previous work by C.D. Broad, H.H. Price,
Andrei Linde and others. This hypothesis states that
the Universe consists of three fundamental entities —
space-time, matter and consciousness, each with their
own degrees of freedom. The paper pays particular
attention to three areas that impact on this theory:
(1) the demonstration by neuroscience and
psychophysics that we do not perceive the world as it
actually is but as the brain computes it most probably
to be; (2) the need to delineate between phenomenal
space-time and physical space-time. Recent theories in
physics that suggest that the Universe has more than
three spatial dimensions are relevant here;
(3) the
role of consciousness in the block Universe described
by Special Relativity. The integration of these topics
suggests a new physical theory of the nature of
consciousness.
So, we have many theories, but only one scientific verification of psychic relativity in our recent history. The problem should be obvious, if true, we have to start all over, and it's doubtful that ego consciousness is willing to go back to - 'square one.'
I sometimes fall asleep with the tele on, and my dream this morning was a guy trying to sell me a digi camera for my comp. It was quite annoying, and when I awoke, there on my tele was that guy, in an infomercial selling digi cameras. :P
Take a moment and look at the researchers comments on my page, regarding the dreaming precognition experience:

Those numbers shown were reported in every major daily newspaper in NY, the next day, i.e., they were the Lottery numbers in the cash game.

I am still having trouble seeing the relevance of your points, but I'm working on it
if I have grasped the wrong end of the stick.
Is this to do with 'quantonics'? http://www.quantonics.com/ This site talks about quantum reality in reference to Nash, but with its 'remediated'() English is about as easy to follow as a text on transcendental meditation, despite attempting to define its terms.
I guess 'quantum reality' could be mentioned in reference to how Nash was attempting to interpret the world. This may be made clearer to me if I had either read Nasar's biography or seen the film. I admit ignorance of both, but nevertheless think quantum reality is currently beyond my explanatory powers.
This entry, as a mini-bio of Nash, attempts to explain most of what it talks about. If I had to add mention of quantum reality I believe other researchers might ask me to explain what it is in the entry. I don't think I can, and the entry is acceptably complete without mentioning it.

Perhaps it's best if I write up my own essay on this, and see what develops. I should also check out all the ways to do this on the board, lol....

I think it would be okay as a basis for another entry, but like Pimms said, mentioning it in this entry wouldn't be enough - it needs a long explanation which wouldn't really fit here.
