Excellent first installment. I shall be reading with much interest, having been a very fleeting part (a cameo, let's say) of your grand tour. It's always intriguing to see our jolly little island through the eyes of others.

I will admit to ~not~ being an expert on British accents. And it could have been Brum. Could have been Norwegian,for all I knew. I only caught about every 5th word.

The program in question, Bagpuss, was Gardener's World on BBC1.
