The h2g2 Poem

1 Conversation

This poem was written by Hypatia specifically for our friend useless hound (boots) who recently lost her soulmate/friend/husband. Our thoughts are with you dear boots.

Where is He?

Where is he, where has he gone?

He is everywhere you are.

Before he could only walk beside you;

Now his aura encircles you,

Merging with your own,

Giving you strength.

Where is he, where will I find him?

He is everywhere you are.

Before he was apart from you;

Now he enters your mind,

And your heart and your dreams.

You will find him within yourself.

smiley - rosesmiley - rosesmiley - rose

Where is he, how will I hear him?

He is everywhere you are.

Before he spoke witha human voice;

Now he speaks with silence,

With gentle sighs, with rustling leaves.

You will hear him in the stillness.

Where is he, what has he become?

He is everything he wants to be.

Before he had a single form;

Now he is the butterfly on your shoulder,

He is sunlight and moonlight,

Laughter and hope, love and peace.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
