whilst serving on the coastguard , we got called out to rescue a climber stuck half way up a cliff.
i went down to get him, he panicked and pushed off the ledge.

dislocated shoulder
7x broken ribs
4x cracked ribs
collar bone broken in 3 places
cracked pevis
dislocated hip...

And i had to walk about 300 metres across farmland to get to the ambulance

Ouch!!!

Well.... i was actually angry at my team mates, unjustly they were doing there job too,.
But they left me dangling 300 plus feet up the side of the cliff , while they rescued the peasant who nearly killed me, before hauling me back up the rock face.

No, you know everytime you go out that someone might get hurt, and you are resigned to the fact and hope to god it aint you!!!!

lol oh ok!
um i have a fine collection on my side/hip from when i ran into my garage and tripped over a tent (in a bag not put up!) and fell onto a pile of nails - no idea why they were there!

one on my forehead when i ran into the banister

my left knee is covered - ran down my drive as a kid and fell over and tore it completely open. So I havea big lump there and a load of little ones. Also one from jumping into an outside swimming pool / rock pool and scraping my leg along the bottom.

one on each arm just above the elbow on the inside - when i was little i was sat on a wall and somehow i DONT know how, my friend managed to slash my arms with a knife - she was trying to get berries off her tree and got me instead - though im not sure how!

one on my ankle - its in a triangle shape - this is really weird - my cousin - she was 17 and i was about 12 - is crazy and we were just really drunk and stuff and basically she started to try to tattoo my ankle - with a triangle - but thankfully she stopped when she realised she had no ink...

some random ones on my arms - various BBQ related incidents last summer and one on my hand.

One on my tummy - i dont know where from - its a circle - its weird.

One down my leg - i was about 8 and i thought that i would try my mom's razor out on my leg and missed horribly!

One in my eyebrow - from walking into a wall. you cant see it really but its there - a bit of the hair doesnt grow there though so its looks a little odd.

Errrr thinking now
oh yeh - one on my finger - i was tidying my shelves and there's this metal bit on each shelf - DAMN ikea! and i caught my finger on it and sliced it right down the knuckle. that was about 9 years ago and it still hurts if i write too much.

oo what else ok there are the drunken ones - i have one on my elbow form when i walked through a door and got hit by the door and a guitar.

one on my hip from a close encounter with a broken wooden chair.

one on my neck - running outside in the pouring rain - (drunken again!) and caught my neck on a low tree branch but its sorta round the back of my neck so its covreed by my hair.

ok im guna stop now coz all the rest i dont know how they got there or im just not saying

hope that was amusing for you

Most amusing , But i cant help but notice a pattern emerging there.

You seem to spend a lot of time walking around (into things!!) with you eyes closed, that and being under the innfluence.

My elbows and knees are just one mass scar, after many motorbike, bmx, skateboard and rollerblade gravity induced incidents.

And also my back is covered due to the ' Al memorial run'.
now that was areally stupid thing to do!!!!smiley - blackcat

lol i never said my eyes were closed!!

'THE AL MEMORIAL RUN'

Thats what its called now!!!!

Let me ste the scene

A very narrow , very shallow and incredibly fast running stretch of water about 300 metres long, 12-18 inches deep and 4 foot wide.
Which runs though the village under 3 houses, 2 footpaths a hotel , garage, lifeboat statin and main road and into the sea.

Lets just say some idiot went down it laying on a surf board and wrote off a brand new wetsuit .smiley - blackcat

LOL!!!
that HAS to have been fun though!!!
that reminds me of another i have - all down my back from a misguided skateboard incident. it was hilarious but stupid.
resulted in 17 ( i counted proudly) cuts 3 broken bones and much blood. was too funny to actually care though

It was hell of a rush , it only took me about 10 secs from start to finish.
which was good coz my head was under water all the way, we didnt check to see if there was enough room beforehand.
no one has ever attempted to follow that one.
hence the name change to the Al memorial run,
by the way i'm Al.

You may very well be qualified to join our Exclusive club.
me and a couple of friends , who do slightly stupid things from time to time , with absolutley NO training what so ever.
Which makes things like parachuting a little more interesting.
jump out of plane pull the cord , how difficult is that , who needs training!!!!!!!!
