Okay, the suggestion that we should do something special rather than just sit in the pub getting pished all day seems to have met with little enthusiasm. Here are some ideas to start us off...

Bowling - a non-starter as we will undoubtedly do our usual trick of arriving at the bowling establishment, finding no free bowling lanes, and getting pished at inflated bowling establishment bar prices for a while before retiring to the pub.

Eating - FC mentioned the possibility of going for a meal at a nice restaurant, but now she's not coming.

The Miss Wet h2g2 T-Shirt Competition - I suggest this every year and nobody ever takes me up on it.

I know the restaurant she was talking about.

Going to a nice restaurant would be good. I vote for that

She was probably getting revenge for the thunder storm she had to endure on Thursday night which seemed to end at my front door more or less.

That was a horrid night in Oban. Thunder and lightning - it was dreadful. Fortunately, after a few bacardi & cokes, it didnt seem quite so bad!

So, what non-alcohol fuelled fun are we going to get up to? Do you think I should book the restaurant??

Haven't been about for a few weeks, so convos lost in the backlog.
