Spring Breezes
Daybreak's breeze is soft and warm.
Willow leaves rustle and sway;
Bright red tulips greet the day.
Robins hop with dangling worm,
Life is sweet on this spring morn.
Noontime's breeze begins to cool.
Willow branches wave hello;
Tulip petals start to blow.
Feathers ruffle near the pool,
In the clouds brave dragons duel.
By afternoon the breeze is strong.
Tulips tangle in embrace;
Robins hunt a sheltered place.
Bees play tag, but not for long,
Willows sing a creaking song.
Evening wind - try to clock it.
Willow branches touch the ground;
Birds fly backward without sound.
Shed door bangs- better lock it.
Put a rock in your pocket!
