Hi Loup et al.
I've been trying to figure out how you ask a girl out in French
and after extensive research, the best i can come up with is
Est ce tu veux (aller) sortir avec moi?
but i don't know if the same phrase is used in france.
(please ignore bad spelling)
Am i even close?
thanks

Hi Crunchy Frog...
"Est-ce que tu veux sortir avec moi?" is definitely _the_ right way to ask a girl out in French... A bit direct if you don't know her but it's acceptable if you have talked to/known her for a relatively reasonable time [less than one hour can be seen as reasonable sometimes ]...
