well i will definitely give translating ago and pass on the word that it exists. Do other language translatory things exist on h2g2?

As for getting back to me about the digi box query I await your answer with enthusiasm

yep.. there was a kinda volunteer translation project once upon a time on H2G2 but i'm not sure what's in future for it...

but with the way we are presenting this project we won't duplicate its work if it comes back to life... i think they were more around translating entries and perhaps checking foreign postings... so we won't thread on anyone's toes...

i think the german speaking researchers group is still going strong...


the digibox info... yep.. that's definitely a great alternative and while it's got some limitations we still can enjy the site a lot with it...

Furthermore you are extremely good at English so are you French second English first?

what does it involve?!... kinda everything and anything really... helping/guiding anyone needing some kind of help with the french language... also in another thread we have something about how to remember the verbs that go with "etre"... links being added to the page will also help make this project as informative and useful as possible...

mmmmm the sky is the limit it seems.. hehe...


yep... i'm french but came in here in 1980... so i had time to practice my english...
i do enjoy being able to read/write in both languages...

Yes reading and writing in two languages can be fun depending on the topic.

Well I will see where I could possibly chip in and help with this french bit on h2g2 and if theres any questions I have I'll come back to you if thats ok
