Hi
I was wondering if I could join?
I have 5 tattoos - a dragon on my left deltoid, a tribal black and red piece around the top of my right arm, a triple spiral on my right shoulderblade, a pentacle with spirally stuff on my left ankle bone, and a traditional tribal piece on my lower left arm that I had done in the traditional way (stick with the needle attatched to it, and a hammer... ) in Borneo.
I also have a few piercings - a labret, a madonna, tongue, navel, loads in my ears (though I hardly wear them now), 2 in one nostril, 1 in the other (although I only wear 1 now)...and I did have a nipple pierced, but it refused to heal and I had to take it out.
I have bum length red dreadlocks too.
Planning on having some more tats done when I get the cash - maybe a whole body piece?
Tattoos for me a way of not only decorating my flesh, but claiming it as my own in a way that allows me to feel in my Power.
I also like the way they feel when you have them done!

Ok. I think Tophat will put your name up. Uber-respect to you - there's a major pain factor going on with the traditional practices.

It was actually less painful than an 'ordinary tattoo'. You wouldn't think so would you?
It healed more quickly too - I was in the jungle heat and humidity, but even so it was healed in about a week (my skin normally doesn't heal very quickly at all). Apparently it's because there's less damage to the skin - the needle only pierces the skin and doesn't drag along it.

Oh, hi by the way.
