Thanks, Elizabeth and/or Louise, but you really have to type in your books and authors over what's there - the 'book name, by author' thing is just there to give the standard that I use to paste it into the main list.
Why not have another go?
Cheers,

To be honest, I'm allowing non-fiction now - I must remember to update wherever you clicked through from to reflect that, so you can resubmit, if you like!
Beiderbecke One of my favourites as well! I might even go back and change mine...

You've read it too! Fantastic - I know very few people who have.
If we're going non-fiction, then several Bill Bryson books would worm their way into my top ten, along with Driving Over Lemons by Chris Stewart, The Great Rock Discography by Martin Strong and Halliwell's Film Companion. I'll leave the list as it is, though.

Ashley, does the complete works of Tennessee Williams count? He was a playwright after all, and plays are meant to be performed and not really read. Does the complete .. also contain his autobiography?

Well, a complete works seems like a bit of a cop-out to me but I've allowed it for DNA so I should be consisten...
And since I started accepting non-fiction, I reckon plays are also admissable.

It contains all his short stories, essays and observations, too. Many of the origins of his plays can be found in his short stories.
I got confused... the title says book, so I thought any fiction... eek!
