You don't mention lower segment Caesarean section by name or detail the advantages over the "classic" incision. There's lots of research re C-section rates you could have commented on also.

BTW there's not such a thing as a "crash C-section", just as there's no such thing as a "crash induction".
Your take on the availability of C-section and the medicalisation of pregnancy is a few years out of date, and you omit to mention the dramatic reduction in maternal mortality with modern antenatal care. Really you are presenting quite a militant and partisan view, not supported by the evidence.
You could also have mentioned the advantages of C-section re vertical transmission of certain pathogens and the increased respiratory morbidity of C-section versus vaginal delivery.
