Scunthorpe Reserves played Mansfield Reserves last week with Beagrie up-front (we have a striker shortage). Scunthorpe won 10-1, and Beags grabbed a double hat-trick.

I had a fella got banned for substance abuse yesterday, when i officially got off to my worst start *ever* on a game of CM.

I managed my worst start with Arbroath.
Played 15, Lost 14, Drew 1, got sacked.

Oh, my first season- started as sunderland manager. Finally won a league game in november. Got sacked in December. Applied for every job going until i got the Leigh RMI job in february. finished bottom of the conference. Then, managed to get the vacant Morecambe job just in time for the FA Trophy final, and lost to Nuneaton Borough.

Doing quite well with Scunny at the minute (Beagrie's ban notwithstanding). My scouts keep turning up star strikers, so my forwards are an English 16-year-old and an Italian 17-year-old. Rory Allen's on the bench...not bad for Div. 3

sacked by morecambe while bottom of the conference in December. In february I got appointed manager of Stalybridge Celtic, who were at the time bottom.
Last weekend of the season- I was top of the relegation zone, Morecambe one place above me.
2 minutes to go, they were drawing 1-1 in their game, and I was drawing 0-0 in mine, so I pushed everyonr forward to push for a winner, and my 44-year-old player/assistant manager Big Neville Southall kept me up and sent Morecambe down.

Ah...good old Nev - he never retires, does he?
I've currently got an 160-year-old back four consisting of Lizerazu, Adams, Vickers and Roberto Carlos. Div. 1 in 3 seasons; it's all looking good.
I picked up Adams after he got sacked as manager of Hull, come to think of it.

I had one everton game where I only had two guys in the first team squad under 30, and one of them was 28 year old Mr Wayne Rooney!

He won the first division golden boot in about 2008 for me.
I'm anticipating better stats for him in this years game (if it EVER comes out)
