Is this what all the nonsense I used to get at the bottom of e-mails was all about?

I've never heard of it before! I think its fascinating. It must take so much time. I'd love to rack one up and show my mates but I really think they might start to worry and prise it away from me.
(Not saying I'm a Geek o'course, but surely Geek chic is still in fashion?)

Geek always has been, and always will be, something that one walks a fine line between pulling it off as "chic" and ending up being the target of endless harassment. I just put together my geek code yesterday, and posted it in my LJ. I'd like to think I pull off the geek chic, but maybe it's just my shirt with the binary on it that fits a little tight that allows me to get away with it.

There's lots of spin-offs such as Goth Code, etc.
I've been trying to find a guide entry on this H2G2 code block that I keep seeing, is it the same as Geek code? I give in, someone tell me! :>

There's a code for almost anything strange nowdays, right? Goth code, etc. There's even a furry code. Why not a hitchikers'/H2G2 code?

I have a name but it has got lost in cyberspace Posted Jan 31, 2004
I was worried about reading the geek code, in case I recognised anything about myself.
