SashaQ writes: you may recall in July 2022 part of RSPB Burton Mere became parched in the heat of the summer. The ground took weeks to recover once the rain came, but by early October it was back to being a wetland area. The ducks appreciate it in particular - here is a teal enjoying a splash bath.
